I am staying in Chembur, The first girl in my family to reach Graduation. My parents supported well for BMS in spite of not having any strong financial backing. I work in spare time after studies.

I want to shape my managerial skills and started this by joining BMS. I would like to do MBA in Finance after BMS.

How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?

Feeling very happy and proud for achieving this success by managing study & Job.

Whom will you credit your success to?

First of all my Parents who encouraged me for study. My all Teachers, especiallyTejinder Ma’am, Uma Ma’am, Yogesh Sir.My Friend Uttam. My brothers Dinesh, Monish& Sameer.

Special Thanks to Swadhar Protsahan Trust, who supported me financially.

Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?

Not from first day, but I don’t like last moment rush. I started early and prepare well in advance.

How did you study for Sem V?

Proper Time management & Consistent Practice is what I follow. For theories I understand the concepts thoroughly rather than just reading. Daily one sum for FM. Sincerely attended all class tests in college.

Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?

Logistic& FM

Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?

I used bullet points for brief questions. Used Diagrams & charts where answer can be express broadly.

How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?

I read and understand cases carefully, then solve practical cases. In case of theory put myself in that situation & think about case before answering.

Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?

Yes in some questions where it was require for better explanations.

Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?

Two hours per day & weekly one subject for theories and daily one sum for practical subjects.

How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?

Never study against mood. Time management helps me to manage time between rest & study. My focus was clear. I Set up weekly study targets and completed without excuses.

If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?

I will keep syllabus more on practical and less on theories, which will help them to face current situation in practical life.

I will also add practical training as a part of course, which will give exposure of work culture and will teach them how to implement studied part in practical.

Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?

I was one of those students.I take this as a challenge, fought for it and overcome of it. Medium doesn’t really matter if you have enough confidence on your skills.

Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?

There are people who are trying to dominate you or inspire you, you have to keep your focus clear and take challenge from dominators and learn from inspirations.Ultimately, success after more struggle lead to more happiness.
