          Internal processes involved in the storage, retrieval and management of multimedia data objects are integral to e-com applications. A multimedia server is a hardware and software combination that converts raw data into usable information and then “dishes out” where and when users need it. Most provide a core set of functions to display, crate and manipulate multimedia documents to transmit and receive multimedia documents over network.
