An Interview with Arshad Dilshad Baig, TYBMS Sem 5 Topper, Shankar Narayan College (71.50%)
I am 21 year old working in Star Cable as Manager from the past 6 years. I was not expecting to top in the exams but to an extent I knew that I will be in the top 3 and I will give this credit to my family. I never prepare from day one. I always prefer to study a few days before the exams. I allot time the time depending upon the subjects for e.g. I used to give more time for FM subject and followed a self-made timetable because I had to do job at the same time. I used to study for 2 to 3 hours a day. The insights of cracking the subject before exams is understand that subject properly. Theory subject are easy if they are understood by the student properly and also practical FM subject is easy to score full marks. The special way of writing the answer is proper allocation of time. Case studies can be cracked by reading it carefully and understanding what is actually asked in the case. BMS students require coaching classes only for FM subject and if someone is good in numerical then no need for going to classes. I had joined crash courses of FM subject before 1 month of exams. I participated in college fests and feel BMS students can manage both studies and extracurricular activities. Students should not commit suicide out of any kind of failure as they should understand their responsibility towards their family. As per my thinking Industrial visits has no impact on the student’s exams. All assignments, projects and internal exams help to improve the student and increase their knowledge. So this should be done in each and every college. My message to all BMS students will be ALL THE BEST GUYS for your life ahead and just concentrate on your work and studies because this is the important time of our life so try to gain as much knowledge as you can. My future plans are I am going to do MBA in Marketing from a good and reputed college. BMS.co.in is doing a good job because this will help many students. So keep doing these good things.
