So I am sure pretty much everyone is aware and experienced of the hectic lifestyle of the metro cities because these days this busy corporate-style schedule has extended its reach to…well, almost everywhere. So everyone, somehow or the other needs a break or as we call it “the escape route” from these hush-rush days to stay sane. And what’s the first thing that comes to our mind when we think of a vacation? Of course, the location. And then, somehow we are always stuck up with the obvious- Hill station or beach? Summers or winters? Chill it out or sweat it off?
Yes, it depends on the taste of the person or group but doesn’t it become monotonous to go to particular type of place every time, even if we like it? And then we end up having the similar redundant vacations equivalent to our daily lives. Variety is the spice of life might sound cliché at this point, but there is a reason why this saying is so popular. So it’s always good to keep switching back and forth with various types of places to keep up with the spirit of travelling and pump up the enthusiasm.
Climate plays an important role in our mood swings so much that we even address our moods to that. “Gloomy day”, “Perfect Weather”, ”Sickening Season” ; we all use these phrases and so Climate consideration is a must while choosing a holiday destination. Usually, people living in cold areas would prefer the beaches and vice versa. That makes sense because you want to experience something different, for a change. However, I feel that you should go in the climate which is best suited to uplift your mood. There is no perfect season as travel agencies often advertise. It all zeroes down to your enjoyment. Your climate, your comfort.
The next and the last thing that we should see is that our vacation stays as an amusement and not an agenda. If you’re visiting a place, it isn’t necessary to touch up and browse through each and every place in the vicinity. After all we are enjoying our holidays not redesigning google maps! So do not ever compromise with your peace of mind and just go with the flow.
Some find peace sitting on the lush green valleys near the foothills watching the ice capped mountains as the sun sets behind whereas some feel it lying down on the smooth sands beneath tall coconut trees near the shores as the water tickles their foot with the waves. Both are Divine, Serene and Blissful.
But our vacations need not to be extraordinary. It just needs to satisfy our heart and soothe our soul. Because it’s always about the experience and not extravaganza.
