Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, who we all know as Akshay Kumar, turns a year older today. Akshay’s irresistible good looks and a physique to-die-for, has made him one of the most adored men among the women folks not just in India but overseas too.
Bollywood daredevil Akshay Kumar celebrates his 47th birthday today (September 9).
He is seldom seen at Bollywood’s social dos and prefers maintaining a lifestyle that is in sharp contrast to that of his colleagues in the industry.
Akshay apparently made a 7 second appearance in Mahesh Bhatt’s film ‘Aaj’. His presence obviously went unnoticed. ‘Saugandh’ gave Akshay his first break in Hindi films. But it was with ‘Khiladi’ in the subsequent year that Akshay garnered the much needed attention. And since then, he was offered an avalanche of films with the Khiladi theme and thus emerged the undisputable Khiladi of Bollywood. Akshay will be soon seen in Prabhudheva’s ‘Singh is Bling’.
The actor, who is considered to be one of Bollywood’s best stunt men, has given us a number of hits in both the comedy and action genre.

Akki is married to Tina Khanna (Twinkle) daughter of India’s first superstar- Late Rajesh Khanna- and Dimple Kapadia. He has a son named Aarav and daughter -Nithara.
