Electrical goods maker Arise launched a new range of LED TV’s with Android Jellybean 4.2 operating system which allows consumers to surf internet and use Android-based apps on the TV. The new range ‘Arise LED TV for Android’ is priced between INR 35,000 and INR 2 lakh for 32 to 84 inch screens. With this expansion in product range the company is targeting 24% growth in its turnover from Rs. 1,250 crore to Rs. 1,550 crore in this fiscal year.
The LED TV for Android redefines television viewing in the country and with this innovation, brand Arise is all set to capture the Television market of the country. The company roped in Paan Singh Tomar lead star Irrfan Khan as its brand ambassador for the TV range.
The company is into making pump sets, inverters and batteries, and home and kitchen appliances, reported a turnover of Rs. 1,250 in the previous financial year as specified above. With a target of Rs. 1,550 crore, Arise expects turnover of consumer durables to grow multi-fold in the India in the coming years. The turnover form consumer durables is expected to be Rs. 250 crore and the sales form consumer durables in the previous year were at RS. 150 crore.
