The law relating to carriage of goods and passengers across inter-national borders is regulated in India by the Carriage by Air Act, 1972. It also makes provisions for applying the rules contained in the Warsaw Convention and the Hague Protocol (subject to certain exceptions, adaptations and modifications) to non-international carriage by air.
