Q.2) 5 Fantastic Facts About Your BMS Life:

1) Positive / Negative things about your college?

The first and foremost positive thing about my college is that teaching staff is excellent who teach us a lot more than the prescribed syllabus giving various real-live examples. And who are also available even after college hours to guide us.

The faculty inspires and supports us in each and every way.

I am proud to be a part of an institution accredited with grade ‘A’ by NAAC, and awarded “The Best College Award” by the respected University of Mumbai and awarded with ’College with Potential for Excellence Status’ by University Grants Commission.

The environment is very lively and we are encouraged to develop ourselves not only academically but also in other fields/activities.

2) Positive / Negative things about your BMS course?

BMS is a professional dynamic course which involves learning in a more practical way. We learn the concepts which are actually applied in real corporate world and learn from the mistake in practical implementation.

BMS helps in laying a base foundation for the MBA programme.

I think, BMS course creates zeal to excel in academics, develops an holistic personality and includes a sense of social responsibility. We are encouraged to ignite a passion on research activities and participate in AVISHKAR on a large scale.

In short, BMS prepares us for the larger challenge of professional life through holistic academic and extra-curricular trainings. We emerge as successful and responsible citizens at the end of the 3-year journey, leaving a lasting impression in the academic, cultural and research activities of the college.

I never got to see any drawbacks of this course.

3) How has BMS course helped you to develop your personality? / What did you learn from BMS?

BMS Course offers 3year UG Programme catering students with varied socio-economic and academic background.

It has been just like a blessing in my life. It helps us to open up with views and be bolder in expressing ourselves. It has been an important tool in developing and sharpening my skills. Once we know what our skills are, we become more bold and confident.

I would like to say that BMS is the best course if one wants to develop his/her personality.

4) What are the changes you want to bring in the BMS course?

Well I think no change is required in BMS course. It’s a perfect course for personality development. But I would like to give a suggestion that students must be taken to a few companies and different tasks of that particular company are to be assigned with time limit to a student or a group of students, so that they can get the experience of the coperate world.

5) Share your favorite BMS / college memories?

There are many memories. And I believe they cannot be described in words. But to mention a few the best memories were during my participation in culturals. The 1st dance in this college was Lavani (Marathi: लावणी) during the NAAC visit. And the funny part is, I had no idea about Lavani, as I was new to Marathi culture. Hence, I enjoyed more and got new and close friends and we enjoyed a lot with Ganesh Sir (Cultural Coordinator) later during Youth fest days.

Another would be the industry visit which has been the most enjoyable one. We went only for 2 days but we had a great time with friends and had a different experience at the industry.

And My most cherished memory is when I choreographed a group dance in Annual Gathering – DARPAN with my classmates and we got 2nd place in it.

Q.3) What are the thoughts / advices / tips you would like to give to today’s youngsters?

Well, I am not really an experienced girl but I can share one thing which I believe everyone should follow. Always follow what you think or believe is right, and not what others feel about you. Its your life and I think its you should decide what you want to do.

“You have only one life but if you do it right once is enough”

And I think BMS.co.in team is doing great by encouraging supporting and helping the students like us.
