1) Which factors were considered in mind while selecting the Sem 6 Electives/Optional subjects?
One of the main factors was my interest in the field of finance as it is something i want to get into eventually. The other factor was it’s a scoring subject so gives a boost to the overall percentage. And having taken finance in the 5th sem makes it easier to study.

2) Did you use BMS.co.in for your exam preparation? Which sections of BMS.co.in helped you?
Yes, i took help from BMS.co.in for my preparations. I went through the question banks put up on the site.

3) How do you feel to be a consistent topper in both Sem 5 and Sem 6 exams?

Honestly, it’s tough to be consistent but i guess it’s part and parcel of the end result. Once you top the expectations from people increases and for me that acts as a motivational factor. I feel when people expect you to do well it is my responsibility to prove them right in keeping faith in me as with great expectations come great responsibility to fulfill those expectations. Frankly, i never keep myself busy with books throughout the year. Life is to enjoy as well and what’s the fun in doing well academically if you can’t cherish and enjoy them. I always believe in doing the right thing at the right time. I study when the time is to study which is a month or so before exams. Being a topper everyone might feel I’m kind of a nerd or bookworm who keeps studying all day. But I’m not someone who does that. I study when its needed and i guess that’s what does the trick for me.

4) Behind one topper are many people who stood by him/her during those uncertain times when he/she was merely an ‘aspirant’. Would you like to tell the world, who were those people in your case? Any specific incidence that you would like to share with the readers?

Without the support of my family and my friends it wouldn’t have been possible to achieve what i have achieved today. They have stood by me at all times and have had faith in me. It’s their love and support which has motivated me and made me push to achieve this. They have always been a pillar for me and have motivated me. I would like to thank my family and my close friends who have always been there for me and without whom this wouldn’t have been possible.

Well, there have been times when i would be low or felt like i can’t do it anymore but it was my family and friends who would always motivate me by showing their faith in me that i can do it.

5) What is your message to the aspirants?

I would just like to say that there is no particular theory or rule of how to top in exams. It just comes with hard work and dedication. It’s not an impossible thing to top as anyone who works hard can achieve what i have achieved today. The most important thing is never study with the aim to top. Always study with the aim to do well cos for me that does the trick. And never get disappointed if you don’t achieve what you aim for but just keep working harder and harder and one day you will achieve what you aspire. Being positive is the Key to Success.

6) What was your study plan?
Currently I have applied for M.Com and then i would pursue my MBA.
