  • Tell us more about yourself.

I’m Ms.Sandhya Mishra, pursuing my Bachelors and My hobby is to read story books and listen songs especially soft songs and  I like to watch  movies . I am a very workaholic person. I don’t like to waste my time. I always give my first priority to my studies.

  • Were you expecting to top in the exams? To whom would you credit this success to?

Not exactly but my wish was to top in the exam. So I put my every effort to do top in the exams, and the competition is very keen in my college as well as my classes. My success credit goes to my teachers , Gurus and friends who encourage me that I can create a history. And the biggest one to my
PARENTS who were always there to support for my studies.

  • Did you prepare religiously from day One or A few weeks before the exams?

No. I started studying just a few weeks before exams. Subjects like FM and SSF I tried to do as and when it was done in college as it had numericals so some practice in these kinds of subjects is always beneficial. Theory subjects I started just a few weeks before. But due to internal exams I was always in touch with the syllabus and made the notes for studies by own with the help of books and solved board paper for preparation of the exams.

  • How did you allot time to different subjects?

No I did not allot any time table for the studies whenever I got time in the day I used to study. I focused more on theory subjects so I made the notes with reference of the books.  And for practical subjects I joined the classes.

  • Can you share some insights on how to crack the subjects before exams?

According to me if we do the study seriously then we will find that every subject is easy. We must maintain the written notes for every subject which will help us for last minute revision. As BMS it involves lots of theory subjects so it becomes very difficult for the student to remember each and every concept about the subject. The student must have discussion with teachers and friends to go through the concept in detail with the help of the examples. This will help to remember concept more easily.
As the case studies are always based on the syllabus only nothing comes for outside and so the answers to it should be related to the syllabus only. The syllabus should be applied in the case study. This will be very helpful and you will be able to crack it easily. If the matter is well understood it will be easier to write. The answers should always be written in pointer form and wherever possible examples should be written it will help to increase the strength of the answer.

  • Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?

Yes, of course I have joined the coaching class for Financial management and Special studies in finance. Remaining subjects I have studied by myself with help of my teachers. Well it is depends on the students capacity that it should be required by them or not.

  • Did you participate in college fests or extra-curricular activities? Do you think a BMS student can manage both studies and extra activities?

No, I did not participate in college fests or extra-curricular activities, But I think  a BMS student can be manage both studies and extra activities

  • Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS?

No I did not pursue any additional courses as I just focused and concentrated on studies only.

  • Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?

Whenever I get to hear about this I feel very bad as every Parents have some expectation from their children and we do not have any right to break it. Suicide is not the solution of any problem and it is just to run away from your problems. Failure doesn’t mean that life comes to an end. Just face it and prove yourself that you are the best.  When I get stress I used to spend time with my family and play with my
cute bhatijee which freshens my mind and I get back to my studies.

  • Do you think the number of Industrial visits should be increased for BMS Students? Which industries have you visited?

Yes, I think that Industrial visits should be increased for the BMS students  as it will help to increase the knowledge about the practical Life.
I Visited Alok Industry , Camlin Industry  and Parle.

  • What message would you like to give to the next batch of BMS students?

Workhard for the studies it’s not so easy pass the BMS
