The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2014 examination date was announced to be on 17th May 2014. But due to Lok Sabha election polls, the dates have been changed to 22nd May 2014.


EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission to undergraduate professional courses within the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Courses that use EAMCET 2014 scores for admission are:
1. B.E/B.Tech – Bachelor of Engineering courses
2. B.Sc Ag/Hort – Bachelor of Science courses in Agriculture/Horticulture
3. MBBS/BDS – Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Dental Surgery
4. BAMS/BHMS – Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery and Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery
5. B Pharm – Bachelor of Pharmacy
