Tell us about yourself
Well I’m just a normal guy who loves living life to the fullest. Not that bright with the books though, i love listening to music..and proud to say that “I’m a total FACEBOOK addict…!!”
Tell us about your college
Hmmm..Pillais huh…well i wouldn’t say that PILLAIS is a good college..except for the fact that “It has a good CAMPUS” & a NICE INFRASTRUCTURE & AWESOME FACULTIES along with a well disciplined PRINCIPLE..!! so it ain’t fair to say that our college is good when its the way better than just GOOD..!!
When did you join BMS? Which year you are in?
I’m in TY BMS..
My reason for choosing BMS of all the varied options is because “I feel today’s world falls short of determined and well skilled managers. And I guess I possess what is required to be one..!!”
What inspired you to choose BMS and not any other course?
The very same reason of joining BMS..
According to you, what is BMS all about?
For me BMS is about bringing the best out of what you got, and putting it to the most efficient use through proper co-ordination
and team work.
What’s special about your college? What do you love about it?
Hmmm…well without giving it a second thought, its our beloved principal Mr.Kutty.He is what makes Pillais so special.Without the fear of him chasing us down we wouldn’t have been at the door of discipline that we have achieved today.
Who is your favorite teacher/faculty? Why?
Hmmm..Well my vote would always go to Mrs.Prerna Sardana..!!And I’m more than just glad that she’s a part of our college and life. Not only has she provided us with her extreme knowledge but also with her love and care..!!
What has BMS life taught you?
“Success always comes for a price” & that “You need to put in efforts to reap out the benefits.”
What was the happiest moment in BMS? The saddest? The most memorable?
The happiest moment would be the project work and the skit preparation with friends which turns out to be awesome fun, Saddest would be when one of my good friends dropped out in SY. Most Memorable would be the PTA meeting where my mom misunderstood my faculty as my classmate..!!
Who in your life has influenced the most?
My dad being a manager has influenced me a lot. Its him that I look up to.
As a BMS student, what changes would you like to bring in management education?
According to me there should me a reduction in the theory and increase in the practical stuff, as a lot of the theory is repeated again and again in different subjects, it would be better to introduce something new rather than learning the same old stuff again.
What would you advice someone planning to do BMS?
Hmm..My advice would be to focus on your goals and work towards the achievement of those goals. The assignments and projects are not to be taken lightly as they hold substantial importance.Presentations play and important role as they prepare you for the future and help in making you confident.
3 Questions you would like to ask an MBA?
1)Can you suggest some ways a student could obtain this necessary experience?
2)What kind of problems do you deal with?
3)What’s your pay? lol
What are your future plans?
hmm..I intend to spend a year doing Event Management and then pursue my MBA.
What are you expecting out of BMS?
To help get the best managerial skills out of me.
How do you find BMS.co.in? What help should it provide in future?
The site seems to be quite useful for all the BMS students. It also helps to keep the students informed through the latest updates.
